Memorias de Borikén
es un juego familiar, con ilustraciones puertorriqueñas, que estimula el cerebro y la memoria.
Además, desarrolla el pensamiento, la concentración, las habilidades cognitivas, la socialización y muchos ratos de diversión.
¿Quién puede jugar?
Desde 3 años hasta más de 100 años.
¿Cuántas personas juegan?
De 1 a 6 personas a la vez
¿Cómo jugar?
Coloca las 32 cartas boca arriba (ilustraciones puertorriqueñas hacia arriba) para que puedas mirarlas por un período de 10 segundos. Voltéalas todas boca abajo, riégalas entre sí, y las colocas boca abajo formando 4 filas de 8 cartas. El jugador voltea la carta deseada, luego la segunda, para ver si la ilustración es la misma. Cuando encuentres dos cartas iguales, formas la pareja, y el jugador que las encontró se las lleva. El turno cambia cuando el jugador no consigue las parejas. El juego termina cuando se encuentran todas las parejas. Gana el jugador que más parejas de cartas tiene.

Conoce tu isla
Se reparten todas las cartas entre los jugadores. Un jugador pone una carta en el medio boca arriba y se la lleva el jugador que primero pueda decir un dato o información de la ilustración en la carta. El dato o información no puede repetirse al salir la misma carta. Gana el jugador que tenga más cartas. Puedes utilizar el Internet para investigar información y ayudarte durante el juego. ¡Así aprendes más de Puerto Rico!
Identifica el pueblo de tu isla
Coloca las cartas boca abajo, da vuelta a una carta e indica el pueblo o pueblos al que pertenece la ilustración. El jugador que de la información correcta se lleva la carta. Gana el jugador que más cartas obtenga por identificar el pueblo o los pueblos. Puedes utilizar el Internet para investigar información y ayudarte durante el juego. ¡Así aprendes más de Puerto Rico!
Relaciona tu isla
Se reparten todas las cartas y se coloca una en el medio boca arriba. Los jugadores deben ir añadiendo cartas que se relacionen a la ya puesta. Se pueden relacionar por flora, fauna, cultura, comida, dato histórico, entre otros. Lo importante es que el jugador explique la relación al colocarla. Gana el jugador que termine con sus cartas primero. Puedes utilizar el Internet para investigar información y ayudarte durante el juego. ¡Así aprendes más de Puerto Rico!

Memorias de Borikén
is a family-friendly game that uses classic Puerto Rican illustrations to stimulate the mind and memory.
It also promotes thinking skills, concentration, cognitive development and social interaction, all while creating fun moments in the process.
Who can play?
Anyone at least from 3 years old and up to 100 and beyond.
How many people can play?
At least 1 and up to 6 at once.
How to play?
Place all 32 cards face up (Puerto Rican illustrations showing) and study them for a 10-second period. Then flip all of them over, shuffle them around and organize them into four rows of 8 cards, still maintaining them face down. The first player flips a card of their choice, followed by a second, to try and find a matching illustration. When you find a match, pair them together, and hold onto them as your points. The next player goes the first instance that a match isn’t found by the first player. The game ends once all matching cards have been paired. The player with the most matches cards wins the game.

Get to know your island
All 32 cards are evenly dealt to all the players. One player starts by placing a card from their hand in the middle, face up, and whoever can say a unique fact about the illustration takes the card as a point. If the same card shows up, players cannot repeat the same fact already said. Whoever has the most cards after everyone’s hand has been played wins the game. You can use the Internet to do research to help you during the game. Doing this will help you learn more about Puerto Rico!
Identify the town of your island
Start by placing all cards face down, selecting one random card to flip. Players will then take turns naming towns of Puerto Rico that the illustration shown best describes. The player with the most accurate answer takes the card as a point. The player with the most points for correctly identifying the town(s) wins the game. You can use the Internet to do research to help you during the game. Doing this will help you learn more about Puerto Rico!
Connect your island
Cards are dealt and one is placed in the middle face up. Players will take turns placing cards from their hand that relate to the initial card in some way. They can be related by flora, fauna, culture, food, historical facts, etc. The key here is that each player should explain their reasoning for choosing each of their cards they play. The player that runs out of cards first wins the game. You can use the Internet to do research to help you during the game. Doing this will help you learn more about Puerto Rico!
